Michelle Barton, MD - Reproductive & Integrative Psychiatrist
BIO
Dr. Barton is a board-certified psychiatrist in California and Montana. After finishing undergraduate studies at Stanford University, she studied medicine and public health at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Barton then trained at University of California, San Francisco in psychiatry. She continues to teach medical students through the University of Washington WWAMI Medical Education Program.
Throughout her training, Dr. Barton has focused on women’s mental health. She is passionate about providing mental health care to women at all stages of life and improving women’s access to mental health care. She has experience working with women throughout their reproductive years, including conception, loss, pregnancy, and postpartum. She also has additional training as an integrative psychiatrist, having trained at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine.
Using a collaborative approach, Dr. Barton will work with you to understand your goals for care and for improving your emotional well-being. She has experience treating anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders.
